Three Parties Sign Cooperation Agreement to Establish the Qinghai–Xizang Plateau Carbon Removal Research Center

Hunan University, Xizang Agriculture and Animal Husbandry University, and Xizang NatureForce Technology Co., Ltd. have signed an agreement to jointly establish the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau Carbon Removal Research Center.

Why High-altitude Carbon Removal Matters

High-altitude regions combine fragile ecosystems with agricultural residues, mineral resources, and ecological restoration needs, creating opportunities for pathways such as biochar carbon removal and enhanced rock weathering. To address dispersed project sites, monitoring constraints, and evidence-traceability requirements, HCAP supports project development, implementation, and certification preparation through digital MRV, life-cycle assessment, and evidence management.
